Joining the club allows us provide public liability insurance for our event volunteers (under the club's insurance policy) as well as to make a clear distinction between (a) your voluntary contribution as a signed-up club member; and (b) staff of DERM or MSI who may be performing paid work as a sub-contractor or as direct employee of MSI. The Trans-Savoie is organised by the (not-for-profit) Association DIG / EAT / RIDE / MEET (DERM), in partnership with MOUNTAIN SPORTS INTERNATIONAL (MSI) that manages promotion, marketing, and ticket sales, and all commercial aspects of the event. DERM's mission is to create MTB events for its members and the general public which promote social cohesion and mutual respect between MTB enthusiasts and other trail users; be an advocate for promoting the sport of MTB in the Savoie region in council discussions about trail access and regulations; and in actively participating in trail maintenance days for the benefit of both VTT and all other users.
